The PRS has received the following enquiry. If you would like to respond, please post a comment at the end of the post.
“My research has shown me that the first paintings to be exhibited at the Royal Academy bore the initials “PRB”. Thos paintings are, to my understanding, “Rienzi”, “Isabella” and “Girlhood of Mary Virgin”.
I am having a difficult time finding a source that can reveal all of the paintings which used these initials. When I look at images online, I have trouble zooming in to find the initials myself.
Any ideas on this?”
